Who is the greatest Medieval general. Not not everyone is going to have a grasp on every general so I have provided links to wiki pages with a brief description.
Gengis Khan -- just the size of his accomplishment should be enough. Link to wiki page.
Saladin -- He Re-conquered the Holy Land. The ultimate bend but don't break strategist who finally beat the Crusaders at Hattin. This guy was the real deal, a great warrior, a great leader, and a great gentleman. Wiki page.
Godfrey of Bouillon -- The leader of the First Crusade. He conquered the Holy Land with about 30,000 men, placated the Byzantines and kept all his quarreling princes (except Bohemend) togther until the end. That was quite an accomplishment! Wiki page.
William the Conqueror -- he conquered England completly few invastion like this ever succeded so fully. He went on to lay the wood to anyone who challenged him. Wiki Page.
